Privacy, in plain language

Fahim's Note measures anonymous visits so we can improve what we publish. We use a random browser identifier and session identifier; we do not create public reader accounts or store plain-text IP addresses for long-term identification.

What is measured

Page visits, reading progress, prompt copies, search use, ad interactions, and broad device type may be recorded. These events help us understand whether a story is useful and where a page needs improvement.
